The platform is a propriety application used by media planners to determine the best tactical activation strategies for their campaign objectives across digital media channels. It powers the way we create audiences, forecast volumes, set pricing and costs, and optimise cross-channel plans. It has a fast-expanding user base across markets, agencies, and clients and has a substantial roadmap of developments to deliver.
The role will work within the Global Product team, supporting the GroupM organisation and agencies with the configuration, adoption, maintenance, and optimal usage of the platform. This will involve working closely with the central product development and deployment teams in London, as well as third-party development and engineer teams, along with the local many market GroupM and agency teams.
Platform Specialists are charged with responsibility for the configuration, adoption, and maintenance of the GroupM Nexus Growth Platform:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in each market, serving as the primary point of contact for all configuration and operational matters related to our products and services.
Collaborate with product development, engineering, and product management to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance of our products.
Work closely with markets to understand their business needs and to translate these into feature sets available in the platform.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the platform features, best practices, and upcoming developments to apply in the platform deployment.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide ongoing support to markets to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze market usage and performance metrics to identify opportunities for increased feature usage and the deployment of optimal work practices.
Manage user administration, access permissions and role management across platforms and systems.
Develop a good knowledge of key principles related to advertising and media planning.
Serve as a technical subject matter contact and provide guidance to markets on technical issues and solutions.
Support the development and delivery of market feature training and product demonstrations.
fluent in English (you will be working with foreign teams mostly);
+3 years of experience in a client-facing technical account management role (preferred: in the advertising or media planning industry);
strong technical skills and ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
experience with advertising and media planning technologies, such as ad servers, programmatic platforms, and data management platforms;
proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
proven problem-solving mindset;
excellent communication and presentation skills;
Nice to have:
technically literate, with exposure to Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related tasks;
exposure to or some knowledge of databases and query languages (SQL) and cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.);
advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities;
able to demonstrate that you can work collaboratively within a team, is friendly, and has a can-do attitude.
